Isaiah soap 27/9/23

 “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.”

We need the spirit of God, Holy Spirit to be upon us to help us to reach out to others.

3 parts - bringing good news to others

1. Comfort the broken hearted. Be with them & Encouraging them 
2. Set the Captives and prisoners free. Free from the bondage of sins, fears, condemnation fr the spirit of darkness.

A: this is a role that we as Christians are encourage to do, thru the Holy spirit and not by our own strength. They are so many ppl who are suffering near / ard us and they need the word of encouragement, prayer & deliverance and also the good news of salvation. I must learn to be sensitive to these spiritual needs to reach out to them with love. This is God’s heart for them & let’s me be his vessel to respond to his calling, for I know when he call, he will also enable us. Amen 

Father I pray that your spirit can help me to discern these needs and lead me to reach out to them by your Holy spirit to set the captives free and bring salvation to those u hv Sent me. In Jesus name I asked n prayed, amen!

 “The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest. Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely, how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.”

Observation and application.

This verses spoke to me in 2013 when in a junction whether or not to buy this existing hse or not, I needed direction fr the Lord.

At that time, we are quite disturbed by the neighbour who were drinking and talking outside their hse, even after the midnight.   It’s was disturbing our peace to sleep.

God spoke in this verse. 

“His people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.” My thot shift to the hse that we were interested in, it’s was a secure home, gated and guarded”

Further his word said 

“how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.” The new development is different fr the rest bcoz it has a stream running fr the upper land to the lower land, till the Clubhouse. Letting your cattles free too saying that it’s gateless.

Live in Undisturbed place, secure (gated)

(Stream)

Letting your cattle n donkey range free- (Gate-less)

So convicting and we are further led to purchase the house. 

Prayer: Thank you Lord for your provision and protection upon our family. Sometime we struggle to make right decision and we Tq for your presence and your guidance leading us as we seek you. in Jesus name, amen!
